Crymych is a small village in north Pembrokeshire, Wales, named after a nearby "crooked stream." It developed in the late 19th century around a railway station and sits inland close to the Preseli Hills, within easy driving distance of the Pembrokeshire coast and coastal towns such as Cardigan and Tenby.
Today Crymych functions as a rural service centre for surrounding farms with a strong Welsh-speaking community, a Welsh-medium secondary school, local shops, clubs and an annual agricultural show; hill-country walking, small-scale tourism and local crafts also contribute to the village’s economy and social life.
