Llangattock is a small village in Powys, Wales, sitting beneath the limestone cliffs on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park near the market town of Crickhowell. The dramatic Llangattock Escarpment and its extensive cave systems give the area a rugged, scenic character that draws walkers, climbers and cavers.
Historically the locality was shaped by 18th–19th century quarrying and longstanding parish life around the village church; today the economy is largely agricultural with a boost from tourism and outdoor recreation, and a close-knit community that sustains local events, a village hall and small services for residents and visitors.
