Denholme is a small former mill town and civil parish in the borough of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, set on higher ground above the surrounding valleys. Its stone-built terraces, former mill buildings and Victorian chapels sit amid open moorland and farmland, giving good views across the local countryside and a feeling of being rural despite being within easy reach of larger towns.
Historically it grew in the 19th century with the woollen industry and a now-closed branch railway, and today retains a mix of repurposed industrial buildings, independent shops and community facilities. Many residents commute to nearby centres such as Halifax and Bradford, while local clubs, churches and a village hall help maintain a close-knit community identity and occasional local events.
