Harden is a village and civil parish in the metropolitan borough of Bradford, West Yorkshire, perched on the northern edge of the South Pennines above Airedale. It sits between Keighley and Bingley and is served by Harden railway station on the Airedale Line, giving easy commuter links while still feeling like upland countryside.
Historically the settlement grew in the 18th and 19th centuries around textiles and local stone quarrying, and you can still see stone terraces and converted mill buildings. Today it is largely residential with a handful of shops, pubs and active community groups, popular with walkers and cyclists thanks to nearby moorland tracks and the waterways of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and the Aire valley.
