Welwick

Welwick is a small village and civil parish on the low-lying coast of Holderness in the East Riding of Yorkshire, a few miles from the mouth of the Humber. The surrounding saltmarshes and fields give it a strong coastal character and make it a quiet spot for birdwatching and coastal walks, with the shifting estuary landscape visible nearby.

Locally the economy is centred on agriculture with some residents commuting into Hull and other towns, while the village retains a close-knit community feel and some historic buildings reflecting its rural roots.
