Clanfield is a village and civil parish in the district of East Hampshire, in the county of Hampshire, England. It sits on the northern edge of the South Downs and is overlooked by Butser Hill, giving access to chalk downland, good walking and wide countryside views that are a big part of its character.
Historically an agricultural settlement, Clanfield is now largely residential with local shops, a primary school, a parish church and village pubs, and a number of sports and community clubs. Many residents commute to nearby towns such as Petersfield or to Portsmouth, but the village retains a strong local community feel with fetes, clubs and outdoor activities centred on the surrounding hills and lanes.
