The village of Langrish sits in East Hampshire in Hampshire, a few miles north‑east of Petersfield on the edge of the rolling chalk downland that leads into the South Downs National Park. It is a small, largely rural community of farms, hedgerows and mixed woodland, with narrow lanes and a scattering of historic cottages and country houses that give the area a quietly picturesque feel.
Historically an agricultural settlement with roots stretching back several centuries, Langrish retains a close‑knit village character: a parish church and village hall anchor local life while several converted barns and estate buildings hint at its past. The local economy is largely agricultural and residential, with many people commuting to nearby towns such as Portsmouth and Winchester, and the surrounding footpaths and bridleways are popular with walkers and riders.
