Froxfield and Privett is a compact, largely rural community in East Hampshire, Hampshire, England, set amid rolling chalk downland and patchwork farmland on the northern edge of the South Downs National Park. The landscape gives fine open views and a network of footpaths, and the parish includes small hamlets and scattered historic houses; Privett in particular is often noted for its dramatic hilltop Victorian church and remnants of estate-era architecture.
Economically the area remains rooted in agriculture with a growing number of residents commuting to nearby towns such as Petersfield or even London, and locally there are small businesses, farms and community groups that keep village life active. Socially it feels typical of rural Hampshire: close-knit, with village halls, local events and an emphasis on conserving both the landscape and the built heritage.
