Blewbury is a large, historic village in the Vale of White Horse district of Oxfordshire, England. Perched on chalk downland above the chalk stream of the River Pang, it lies a few miles from the prehistoric Uffington White Horse and the ancient track of the Ridgeway; the village was historically part of Berkshire until the 1974 boundary changes. The parish church of St Michael and All Angels and a cluster of thatched cottages give a distinctly medieval character, and much of the centre is a conservation area.
Today Blewbury retains a lively village life with pubs, a primary school, village shop and hall, plus active music, drama and history societies. Agriculture and small local businesses sit alongside a commuter population travelling to Didcot and Oxford, while annual community events and easy access to the surrounding downs make it a popular spot for walkers and visitors seeking rural heritage with a creative, community-minded feel.
