Langham is a small village and civil parish in Rutland, England, lying a couple of miles north of the county town Oakham. Set in gently rolling East Midlands countryside, it retains a compact, rural character with stone and brick cottages and a parish church, and is popular with residents who commute to Oakham, Stamford and Leicester.
Historically rooted in medieval agriculture and linked to local country estates, the village now has an economy that is largely residential and farming-based, with an active community life centred on a village hall, clubs and occasional local events. It’s also within easy reach of Rutland Water, which adds recreational appeal for walkers, birdwatchers and visitors exploring England’s smallest historic county.
