North Perrott is a small, rural village and civil parish in Somerset, sitting close to the county boundary with Dorset in the rolling countryside of South Somerset. It lies within easy reach of larger market towns such as Crewkerne and Yeovil, and is characteristically English countryside - hedged lanes, pasture and scattered farmsteads with views across the low hills.
The local economy is mainly agricultural with a mix of traditional farming and residents who commute to nearby towns; there is also a longstanding independent school, Perrott Hill School, which contributes to village life. The parish has a compact historic core centred on the parish church and a number of listed buildings; community activities tend to revolve around the church and village hall, and the area is popular for walking and enjoying the quieter Somerset landscape.
