Staplegrove is a small village and suburb on the western edge of Taunton in Somerset, lying close to the M5 and bordered by countryside that leads toward the Somerset Levels; the River Tone flows nearby, giving the area a mix of suburban convenience and easy access to walking country.
Once a largely agricultural settlement, Staplegrove is now mainly residential with a primary school, village hall, local shops and sports facilities, popular with families and commuters to Taunton; there’s still a noticeable community spirit with local events and neighbourhood groups keeping a village feel amid modern development.
