Cheslyn Hay is a village and civil parish in the district of South Staffordshire, in the county of Staffordshire, England. It sits on the edge of the suburban belt between Walsall, Cannock and Wolverhampton, with easy access to surrounding towns and the open heathland of Cannock Chase, making it a popular spot for commuters and walkers alike.
Historically the settlement expanded with 19th- and 20th-century coal and light industry, and today the local economy is a mix of retail, small manufacturing and services; the village retains a strong community character with clubs, pubs and parish events. The area combines a fairly flat Staffordshire landscape with pockets of green space and a sense of local history visible in its older buildings and war memorials.
