Stutton is a small, largely rural village and civil parish in Babergh, Suffolk, England, lying a few miles south‑east of Ipswich on the fringes of the River Orwell estuary. The parish is set among rolling arable fields, hedgerows and riverside habitats, which make it popular with walkers and birdwatchers and give a strong sense of countryside and estuarine character.
Traditionally agricultural, the settlement retains a number of older cottages and a parish church and has an active local community, with village events and a village hall forming the social focus. Many residents commute to nearby towns while others work on local farms or in small enterprises, so the place combines quiet rural life with easy access to services and employment in the Ipswich area.
