Bagshot is a compact village and ward in the borough of Surrey Heath in Surrey, sitting on the edge of the open pine and heather of Bagshot Heath. It lies alongside the M3 and the old A30, within easy commuting distance of London and Heathrow, with neighbouring towns like Camberley and Frimley close by.
The settlement blends a small high street of independent shops, cafés and pubs with plenty of green space, and is notable for the large private estate of Bagshot Park, giving the area a royal connection. Historically a coaching stop on the westward road, it now has a villagey community feel with local clubs and recreational facilities surrounded by characteristic Surrey heathland.
