The village and civil parish of Chobham lies within the borough of Surrey Heath in Surrey, England, on the edge of the London commuter belt and close to Camberley and Woking. It’s best known for Chobham Common, one of the largest stretches of lowland heath in the region and a designated nature reserve supporting rare plants, reptiles and birds.
The village itself retains a historic feel with a medieval church, thatched cottages and a village green, while the local economy mixes agriculture, equestrian activity, small businesses and commuters. The name is also widely recognised from "Chobham armour", reflecting the area’s past links with military vehicle research and testing, and there remains an active community life with clubs and occasional village events.
