Both West End and Chobham sit in the borough of Surrey Heath in Surrey, England, a few miles north‑east of Camberley and well within the London commuter belt. The character of the area is defined by lowland heath and pinewoods, most notably Chobham Common, a large National Nature Reserve and SSSI that draws walkers, riders and wildlife enthusiasts.
Historically these were small agricultural communities and Chobham still retains a classic village green and older church buildings, while West End is more residential with local shops, pubs and community clubs. Both places combine a strong local identity and active village life with easy access to larger towns and employment centres, so they feel rural despite good transport links.
