Chiddingfold is a large village and civil parish in the district of Waverley, in Surrey, England. Set on the edge of the Weald and largely within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is characterised by rolling commons, heathland and mixed woodland that give the area a distinctly rural feel.
The village retains a strong historic character with timber‑framed cottages, a medieval parish church, a village green, cricket club and traditional pubs. Historically tied to agriculture, woodland and former Wealden industries, its economy today is a mix of farming, local services and commuters to London, and community life is marked by conservation activity, village events and many listed buildings.
