Pulborough is a village and civil parish in the district of Horsham, West Sussex, set on the floodplain of the River Arun at the foot of the South Downs. The landscape is a mix of farmland and chalk downland, and the nearby RSPB reserve at Pulborough Brooks makes the area well known for birdwatching and nature walks; the location also provides easy access to the South Downs National Park.
Locally the community combines agricultural roots with a commuter economy served by Pulborough railway station on the Arun Valley Line, giving regular links towards London and the south coast. The village retains a compact high street with pubs, shops and community organisations, and has a long history reflected in a historic parish church and several conservation areas that attract visitors and residents who enjoy outdoor recreation and village events.
