Ardingly is a village and civil parish in the district of Mid Sussex, West Sussex, set in gently rolling Weald countryside close to the edge of the South Downs. It lies a few miles south of Haywards Heath and is perhaps best known for Ardingly Reservoir, a popular local spot for sailing, walking and birdwatching that gives the area a strong outdoor appeal.
The village combines a traditional rural feel with an active events and education scene: it hosts Ardingly College and the South of England Showground, which brings regular fairs, exhibitions and markets that boost the local economy and community life.
