Wilsford cum Lake is a small, largely rural civil parish in Wiltshire, England, set on the chalk downland that edges the western side of Salisbury Plain. It is dominated by farmland and open vistas typical of the area, with a tiny clustered settlement pattern and a very small population, giving it a quiet, agricultural character.
The parish has a long history reflected in a parish church with medieval origins and nearby prehistoric earthworks and barrows on the surrounding downland, so it attracts interest from walkers and local historians; at the same time many residents are engaged in farming or commute to larger centres, and a close-knit community life is sustained by village events and traditional rural networks.
