Inchtavannach is a small, wooded island set in the southern reaches of Loch Lomond within Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It sits near the village of Luss and makes a compact but prominent feature of the loch, rising steeply from the water and offering fine views across to Ben Lomond; it lies inside Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and is a familiar stop for private boats and kayakers rather than served by a regular ferry.
The island's name reflects the Gaelic root innis, and its wooded slopes and shoreline show traces of past human use - seasonal grazing, coppicing and small-scale habitation - alongside rich lochside wildlife such as waterfowl and occasional otters. Today its quiet, historic character contributes to the local tourism economy and to the wider appeal of the Loch Lomond islands as places for short excursions, photography and gentle hill walks.
