Inchcruin is a small, largely wooded island in Loch Lomond, within the council area of Stirling in Scotland. Its name comes from the Gaelic Innis Chruinn, roughly “round island”, and it sits inside Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park; there is no permanent population and access is normally by private boat.
The island supports mixed woodland and the typical wildlife of the loch - waterfowl, songbirds and occasional red squirrels - and, while modest in size, contributes to the loch’s scenic island-strewn landscape that draws boaters and walkers and forms part of the local recreational and cultural character.
