Bridge of Earn is a compact village in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, lying roughly three miles south of Perth on the north bank of the River Earn. The settlement grew up around a historic river crossing - a bridge has marked this point for centuries - and its position on the low-lying floodplain near the River Tay gives it easy access to riverside walks, wildlife and angling.
Traditionally a local service centre, the village expanded with mid-20th-century housing and now functions largely as a commuter community with good road links (there was once a railway station) to nearby towns such as Perth and Dundee. It retains a strong village feel with a primary school, shops, pubs and active community groups, and is close to historic and recreational attractions including Scone Palace and regional walking routes.
