Dunning is a small conservation village in the fertile Strathearn valley of Perth and Kinross, Scotland, set among rolling farmland and wooded glens. It is best known for its medieval church, St Serf's Church, and for the nearby Pictish monument, the Dupplin Cross, which underline the area's deep early‑medieval history.
Today Dunning combines an agricultural hinterland with a role as a commuter base and local centre, retaining traditional sandstone buildings, a busy village community and occasional heritage events; its peaceful rural setting and historic features make it a popular spot for walkers and visitors while remaining closely connected to Perth and Stirling.
