Fallin is a small village in the council area of Stirling in central Scotland, sitting on the edge of the Forth Valley beneath the Ochil Hills and a short drive from Stirling city centre. Its setting gives a mix of semi-rural countryside access and easy links into the larger towns of the region.
Historically a coal‑mining community, Fallin's industrial past still shapes local identity with memorials and strong community memory; after the pits closed in the late twentieth century it has become largely residential, with many people commuting into the Central Belt. The village retains a close‑knit feel, basic local amenities and good access to walking routes and Stirling’s facilities.
