Faifley is a mainly residential suburb in West Dunbartonshire, on the north‑west edge of the Greater Glasgow conurbation in Scotland. It sits close to neighbouring communities such as Duntocher and Old Kilpatrick, with the rolling Kilpatrick Hills and views towards the River Clyde not far away, so despite being an urban estate it has ready access to countryside walks and panoramic outlooks.
Much of Faifley grew up through mid-20th century council housing and has seen ongoing regeneration and active community groups in recent decades, with local schools, shops and social facilities serving a largely commuter population who work in nearby Clydebank and Glasgow. The area also lies close to remnants of the Antonine Wall and other local historic sites, giving a mix of industrial-era heritage, community spirit and outdoor opportunities.
