Pwll is a small coastal village in Carmarthenshire, Wales, sitting on the north shore of the Burry Inlet close to Llanelli. It looks across to the Gower peninsula and lies near the recreational sweep of the Millennium Coastal Park, so seaside walks and estuary views are a big part of its appeal.
The name means "pool" in Welsh and the settlement grew with the 19th-century industrial boom, centred on fishing, coal and tinplate in the wider area; today it is largely residential and commuter-oriented but still retains a maritime feel, local pubs and clubs, and good access for birdwatching and outdoor recreation along the estuary.
