Felin-fach is a small, rural parish in Powys, Wales, set among rolling farmland and hedgerow-lined lanes. The landscape is gently undulating with pasture, small woodlands and traditional stone farmsteads; its location gives easy access to the hills and trails of the Brecon Beacons National Park, so walkers and cyclists pass through alongside local agricultural traffic.
Historically the parish grew up around a parish church and a handful of hamlets, and agriculture - especially sheep and cattle - remains the economic backbone. That traditional rural economy is now modestly supplemented by tourism, small-scale crafts and community activities in village halls; a strong sense of local identity and interest in conserving historic buildings and landscape character are typical of the area.
