Taff's Well is a village in Rhondda Cynon Taf, on the northern edge of Cardiff in Wales, best known for the country's only thermal spring, the Ffynnon Taf. The warm spring, which feeds into the nearby River Taff, has been noted since Victorian times and remains a quirky local landmark set amid riverside greenery.
Historically the village grew with the coal and rail industries of the South Wales Valleys; today Taff's Well largely functions as a commuter settlement for Cardiff, with a railway stop and easy access to the Taff Trail. The area still shows its industrial heritage alongside pockets of light industry, community amenities and popular walking and cycling routes.
