Bathwick is an electoral ward in Bath and North East Somerset, lying immediately east of the River Avon and the city centre of Bath. The ward includes the grand Georgian axis of Great Pulteney Street, the leafy Sydney Gardens with the Kennet and Avon Canal running through it, and cultural sites such as the Holburne Museum; it’s also the side of the city reached by Pulteney Bridge and is a short walk from Bath Spa railway station.
Historically part of Bath’s late 18th-century expansion, Bathwick mixes elegant period terraces and villas with green promenades and small local shops, making it a desirable residential neighbourhood.
