High Littleton is a small village and civil parish in Bath and North East Somerset, set in rolling Somerset countryside on the fringe of the old Somerset coalfield and within easy commuting distance of Bristol and Bath. Its setting gives good access to rural walking and cycling, while still feeling connected to nearby towns.
Historically the community was shaped by coal mining, and that industrial past is still visible in surviving terraces, former colliery sites and local memorials; today the village is largely residential with local shops, a village hall and an active community life. It attracts walkers and commuters and benefits from proximity to the Mendip Hills and the Chew Valley, combining a strong sense of local identity with countryside amenities.
