North Nibley is a small village and civil parish sitting on the Cotswold Edge above the Severn Vale, in the district of Stroud, Gloucestershire, England. Its exposed limestone hill gives sweeping views over the vale and makes it popular with walkers on the Cotswold Way; the tall local memorial tower, often called the Tyndale Monument, is a distinctive landmark on the skyline.
The area is rich in history - tradition links it with William Tyndale and nearby the Nibley Green skirmish of the 15th century is remembered as one of the last private battles fought in the country - and today it combines a close-knit village community with a mixed rural economy of farms, small firms and commuters into surrounding market towns, plus a steady trickle of visitors for walking and heritage interest.
