Newton Valence is a small, rural parish in East Hampshire, Hampshire, England, set among rolling chalk downland, woodlands and farmland typical of the county. The settlement is dispersed, made up of a handful of farms, cottages and a parish church, and retains much traditional vernacular architecture of flint, brick and thatch.
Historically agricultural, the local economy is still dominated by farming and estate land, though many residents commute to nearby towns; the area also attracts walkers and equestrians for its quiet lanes and natural habitats. Community life is centred on the church and village events, giving the place a tight-knit, largely residential character with a strong sense of rural heritage.
