Yateley is a small town in the district of Hart, in north‑east Hampshire, England, set amid heathland and a string of lakes formed from old gravel workings. The town sits on the edge of the Thames Basin Heaths and is known for Yateley Common and the Yateley Lakes, which give it a green, outdoorsy character popular with walkers, anglers and wildlife watchers; it lies close to Fleet, Camberley and Farnborough and is within commuting distance of Reading and London.
