Brigstock is a compact village and civil parish in North Northamptonshire, England, set amid rolling countryside on the edge of the ancient royal Rockingham Forest. It retains a well-preserved medieval core with a traditional village green, many timber-framed and stone cottages and the attractive parish church of St Andrew, reflecting its long history as a small forest settlement and hunting-lodge community.
Today Brigstock has a lively village feel with local pubs, a village hall and community groups, while the surrounding woods and footpaths make it popular with walkers. Economically it is largely residential with farming and small local businesses, and many residents commute to nearby towns, but the village’s historic character draws visitors interested in heritage and countryside pursuits.
