Raunds is a small market town in North Northamptonshire, England, lying east of Wellingborough and close to Rushden. Historically it grew from a farming and market community into a 19th–20th century centre for boot and shoe manufacture, and today combines local light industry and retail with a sizeable commuter population who travel to nearby towns and cities.
