Northborough is a small village and civil parish on the northern fringe of Peterborough in ceremonial Cambridgeshire, England. It retains a rural character set in agricultural countryside while being within easy commuting distance of the city, so the community mixes long‑standing farming families with people who work in and around Peterborough.
Historically part of the Soke of Peterborough, the village is perhaps best known for the moated medieval manor of Northborough Hall and its old parish church, which give a tangible sense of history. Local life revolves around village amenities such as the pub and hall, small businesses and farms, and occasional community events that preserve a compact, village atmosphere despite proximity to larger urban facilities.
