Loftus is a small market town and civil parish in Redcar and Cleveland, within the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire. It sits at the transition between the moors and the coast, and although it retains a compact town centre with local shops and pubs, much of its character comes from a distinct blend of rural life and industrial heritage.
