Greetham is a small, rural electoral ward in the county of Rutland in England, centred on the village of Greetham and the surrounding farmland and hamlets. The ward has a compact village core of traditional stone and brick houses, a historic parish church and a number of listed buildings that hint at its long settlement history, while lanes and hedgerows give way to open countryside and attractive views.
Economically it remains largely agricultural, with some residents commuting to the nearby county town of Oakham and other centres for work; socially the area is notable for its tightâknit community, local clubs and parish activities. Its position within easy reach of Rutland Water and regional walking routes also makes it popular for outdoor recreation and quiet tourism.
