Cheadle is a market town and civil parish in the district of Staffordshire Moorlands in Staffordshire, England. Sitting on the southern fringe of the Peak District, it occupies a pleasant setting of rolling farmland and small river valleys and offers easy access to country walks while remaining within commuting distance of larger centres such as Stoke-on-Trent and Uttoxeter.
Historically it grew as a market settlement with links to agriculture and local extractive trades, and the centre still shows a number of historic buildings and a prominent parish church. Today the town mixes independent shops, light industry and local services with a busy high street and community events, reflecting both its rural character and its role as a local service hub.
