Hollinsclough is a small upland village and civil parish in Staffordshire Moorlands, Staffordshire, lying close to the western edge of the Peak District. It sits in an open, pastoral landscape of moorland, drystone walls and small streams, and is popular with walkers who use the quiet lanes and footpaths to explore the surrounding hills and limestone outcrops.
The settlement retains a chiefly agricultural character, with stone cottages, a small parish church and traces of 19th‑century chapel life; farming remains important while a number of residents commute to nearby centres such as Leek and Buxton. A modest rural tourism trade, occasional village events and a strong local identity help sustain community life in this remote part of the Moorlands.
