Yapton is a small village and civil parish in the district of Arun, in West Sussex, England. It sits on the coastal plain a few miles inland from the seaside towns of Bognor Regis and Littlehampton, close to the former RAF base at Ford, with the rolling hills of the South Downs rising not far to the north.
Historically an agricultural community, the parish still has a rural feel with farmland, a compact village centre and a medieval parish church, while many residents now commute to nearby towns. The village supports a lively community life with local clubs, a village hall and seasonal fetes, and benefits from easy access to both coastal wildlife areas and countryside walking and cycling.
