Fernhurst is a rural parish in the district of Chichester, West Sussex, England, set on the southern slopes of the South Downs National Park and close to the Surrey town of Haslemere and the market town of Midhurst. The area is notable for its mix of rolling chalk downland, patches of heath and broadleaf woodland, with good walking country and long views across the Weald.
Locally the village acts as a small service centre with shops, pubs, a primary school and an active community that stages events and supports conservation of handsome older houses and rural lanes. The economy still shows agricultural roots alongside local services and a number of residents who commute to nearby towns and London, giving a blend of traditional village life and contemporary commuter influence.
