Fyfield is a small village and civil parish in Wiltshire, set on the edge of the Marlborough Downs a few miles west of Marlborough. The parish looks out over chalk downland and is close to areas of archaeological interest such as Fyfield Down, with its scattered sarsen stones, and is within easy reach of the prehistoric landscape around Avebury and the ancient track of the Ridgeway.
Historically an agricultural community with medieval roots, the settlement retains traditional cottages and lanes and a quiet village feel; farming and small rural businesses remain important while some residents commute to nearby towns. There is an active local community with conservation-minded residents who value the landscape, and the combination of historic fabric and open downland gives the parish a distinctly rural and heritage-rich character.
