Rest Bay is an electoral ward in Bridgend, on the northern edge of Porthcawl in Wales, taking in the sandy foreshore and dunes of Rest Bay on the Bristol Channel and a stretch of the Wales Coast Path.
It elects councillors to Bridgend County Borough Council and Porthcawl Town Council and is best known for its surfing beach and seaside leisure economy, with nearby attractions such as Royal Porthcawl Golf Club; the community is a mix of local families, commuters and holiday homeowners and sits within the historic county of Glamorgan.
