Nottage is a ward and village on the outskirts of Bridgend in Wales, located just inland from Porthcawl and the Bristol Channel. It mixes residential streets with remnants of its agricultural past and sits within easy reach of Porthcawl’s beaches and the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, making it popular with families and commuters.
Locally it retains a village feel with active community groups, a primary school and small shops, while many residents travel to Bridgend or Cardiff for work. Historically a farming settlement with medieval roots, Nottage still shows traces of that past in surviving historic buildings and street patterns even as it forms part of the wider Bridgend county borough.
