Llysfaen is a small village and community on the north coast of Conwy in Wales, set on higher ground above the coastal plain with good views out over the Irish Sea and, on clear days, towards Snowdonia. It sits between the bigger seaside towns of Colwyn Bay and Abergele and is convenient for the A55, so it feels rural while being well connected to larger centres.
Historically a parish village with a medieval church and traces of an industrial past in local quarrying, Llysfaen today is largely residential with farming still visible in the surrounding countryside. The community retains a strong village identity, bilingual character and local amenities such as a village hall and pub, while many residents commute to nearby towns for work.
