Llanddulas is a small coastal village in Conwy on the north coast of Wales, sitting between Colwyn Bay and Abergele at the mouth of the River Dulas and just off the A55. The shoreline here combines a long sandy beach with limestone cliffs and an old quarry face that give the area a distinctive geology and coastal character.
Historically the village grew around limestone quarrying and lime production, industries that shaped its economy and landscape; today Llanddulas is quieter, a mix of residential community and holiday accommodation with caravan parks, pubs and coastal footpaths. The dramatic nearby Gwrych Castle and easy access to the Clwydian Range help draw walkers and visitors, while local interest focuses on heritage, wildlife and the changing coastline.
