Llanddona is a small coastal village on the east side of the Isle of Anglesey in Wales, centred on a sandy beach and a rocky headland with a notable lighthouse. The headland gives wide views across the Irish Sea to Puffin Island, so it’s popular for walks, birdwatching and spotting marine life.
Traditionally rooted in farming and fishing, the village retains a strong Welsh-speaking, community feel while tourism - holiday cottages and a caravan park - now makes an important contribution to the local economy. There’s a small parish church and an active local social life, making Llanddona a quiet but characterful spot away from the busier Anglesey resorts.
